Sunset Promotions of Chicago, Inc., The Sunset Group., is a musical production, publishing, media, and consulting firm based in Chicago, Illinois and Nashville, Tennessee. The Group., as it is referred to, offers specialty assignments to clients operating on a synergistic approach based on each individual’s strengths and interests.

There is one contact individual to initialize and finalize details, but in reality, the client has over several persons working as a team. This unique approach was inaugurated to best serve the client’s needs – especially exposing new territories of development in promotion through professional support.

Consulting services are channeled through The Group’s media section, in order to assist with the progress of the client’s musical career.

The Group., offers other valuable services and includes but is not limited to budget and music preparation, copyright management, studio sound production, post production, re-mixing and sweetening, music supervision, radio, electronic and print media promotion, all to select established markets.

Creative angles are discussed throughout the term of service. Interviews generated by The Group’s media division target record releases, current project and tours as well as ongoing press services distributed to industry insiders. Feature stories are pitched to select electronic and print media. Implementation and placement of advertising vehicles as needed to further enhance and expose the client’s talents.

A monthly report is submitted to the client on any progress for the term of the agreement. When working with a new client, The Group., requires a six-month commitment, thereafter, the services can be extended or cancelled upon the discretion of the client. Established clients need only a three – month commitment on most services. <TOP>

HISTORY

The Sunset Group’s expertise has resulted in an accomplished – filled career for our founder, Neil J. Cacciottolo. Following a promising stint as an intern and demo artist for recording companies, studios, and publishing firms, Neil turned his music and songwriting talent to recording and pitching many of his songs to independent acts as well as major artists. Some of these noteworthy firms include Elvis Presley Music, Gladys Music, House of Cash, United Artist Records Publishing Division, and Orbisongs, now known as Still Working Music, Inc.

In 1981, Sunset Promotions of Chicago, Inc., was established and became recognized as a legal corporation. During this time, Neil’s knowledge and list of contacts grew progressively as he coordinated important national and international ties through partnerships. Involved with all categories of the music gamut, The Group., concentrated exceedingly on recording and promotion of Traditional Country, Southern Gospel, Traditional Blues, Folk and Acoustical Music.

Resulting from hard work and diligence, Neil earned a number of music industry awards. One in particular includes the prestigious American Eagle Awards for Independent Promoter of the Year and Independent Record Label of the Year by the Country Music Associations of America. The Group’s record division – Sunset Records America, has become visible on many Grammy eligibility listings throughout the past Twenty years.

Our founder is one of those rare individuals who mix professionalism with personality, making the most of creative ideas by means of proven strategies and always paying close attention to “detail”. Going back to the fact that; “good attitude is everything”, - Neil says; “it compliments the talent and puts the finishing touches on an already proven or about to be proven success”. Neil recently has been inducted into The Who's Who In America (Professional Category) by the Washington D.C. Chamber of Commerce.

Today, Neil is requested to conduct lectures and offers workshops on many topics relative to the music industry. He was graduated from Omega School of Communications and attended seven-years at the Carnevale School of Music. Neil holds an honorary title of Doctorate of Letters in Music and is an inductee into the International Who’s who in Music (Cambridge, England), member of the top 2000 Musicians of the Twentieth Century and currently a member of the Recording Academy’s Producer and Engineer’s Wing (Los Angeles, California). <TOP>

Since 1982, Sunset Promotions of Chicago, Inc., The Sunset Group., and its division Sunset Publishing Division (ASCAP), has in its music library over 700 compositions. These selections are available for lease (commercial announcements), synchronization (movie or movie trailers), pitching (demos or finished products to other publishing firms or record companies), electronic media such as ring tones, video games, etc; all at standard market rates. Sunset Publishing Division is also a publisher member of the Harry Fox Agency and writer member of ASCAP. Sunset Promotions of Chicago, Inc., offers to clients music preparation services that include both Copyright Form PA and SR, notating, arranging and copyist services.

Sunset Promotions of Chicago, Inc., in conjunction with Sunset Records America., is offering a risk free distribution program on a quid pro quo basis to entrepreneurs, individuals and companies interested in assisting to promote this historic reunion CD while realizing a profit for their efforts. The CD's are available to purchase at a wholesale cost of 7.00 (US Dollars) per unit; minimum order of 10 units. There is a suggested retail price of $15.00 (US Dollars), however, the sub-contractor could sell the product at whatever the local market establishes.
